The facility is beautifully situated in a majestic pine forest by the sea, only six km outside Örnsköldsvik.
In addition to our wide range of exciting activities, we also boast one of Örnsköldsvik's most popular seaside swims and many beautiful trails for hiking and cycling.
During high season (June 21-August 24), the park is staffed daily from 10 am to 5 pm.. During spring and fall, we are only open on weekends.
Outside of that time, it is fine to book an activity for groups of at least 10 people. For the treetop adventure course, we highly recommend booking a starting time in advance through our booking calendar.
There is also a selection of drop-in activities as well as a café that is always open during our opening hours.
There are also plenty of places on the premises to enjoy your own packed lunch.

Everything you need to know before your visit to us at Aktivator Park.
Do you have to book the high ropes course?
No, it's not entirely necessary. BUT we strongly recommend it as time slots between 11 AM and 2 PM often get fully booked during peak season. We have some extra equipment that isn't visible in the booking calendar which is normally used when an occasional extra person joins a group.
Is there a restroom on the premises?
Yes, during our opening hours and for group bookings, there is a standard toilet in our restaurant/café, Järnkrogen.
How long before the booked activity should one be on site?
Please make sure to arrive approximately 10-15 minutes early. If you have booked a time for climbing, this is especially important as the safety briefing must start at an exact time for everyone to get the most out of the day.
Please keep in mind that it takes some time to walk from the parking lot, check in, and get your equipment. It would also be good if you have filled out and brought Terms and conditions for the climb.
Do you have lockers for valuables?
Yes, there are nine key cabinets in the entrance by the restroom that our guests can use freely.
Are you closed when the weather is bad?
It works fine to climb even in the rain, you don't get too wet as you are protected under the treetops.
So far in our five years, we haven't closed due to strong winds; the climbing park is well protected.
During thunderstorms in the vicinity, we pause climbing until they have passed.
Dress code?
It is important to wear shoes that are securely fastened to your feet. Jewelry, piercings, loose-fitting clothing, and long, unbound hair increase the risk of injury.
Otherwise, all types of clothing that are comfortable to move in work well! Activator takes no responsibility for stains or damage to clothing.
Can children climb by themselves?
Well... All our nine courses can be mastered by adventurers of all ages. Our harnesses require a minimum waist measurement of 45cm. If you are under approximately 125cm tall, we strongly recommend climbing with a taller person. This taller person can assist and be responsible for a maximum of 2 children!
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, the area is large and there are plenty of trails to explore!
There's even a ”Dog Spa” with its own sea bath at Nyänget, about 300 meters from us. Feel free to ask our staff for a bowl of water!
Are visitors accompanying climbers allowed in the climbing park area?
Sure, the climbing park is in an open area, so it's perfectly fine to be there to cheer, take photos, and maybe have a coffee!
Is there disabled parking?
Yes, if anyone in the party has reduced mobility, you can drive directly to the facility. Follow the signs marked with a wheelchair. Note that the road for the last approx. 300m is very narrow and a bit difficult to manage on-coming traffic.
Can one eat lunch/dinner at your place?
Yes, in cooperation with a local restaurant, we can offer sliced pizzas and salads this year, but the minimum order is 4 pieces.
You order easily from us and the food gets delivered to us! In our café, there are sodas, ice cream, coffee, pastries, and more. There are also several barbecue areas on the premises for those who want to prepare their own food!
For larger parties, we can also offer finer dinners etc. in Järnkrogen.

Is it possible to book a whole day or evening with activities and food with you?

Can one rent your venue, Järnkrogen, for meetings and private festivities?
Yes, that's fine! It's approved for up to 50 guests, has Wifi, a projector, a substantial sound system, and a simple kitchen. Read more here
